About the Author

Abby Sumner is a writer and researcher of contemporary art and material culture. She works as an art and fashion librarian supporting Parsons School of Design for The New School. As an M.A. candidate in the Biography and Memoir Program at the CUNY Graduate Center, her upcoming memoir centers research on queer identity, sartorial expression, and the collective nostalgia of porcelain figurines.
