About the Author

Olivia Newsome ogn206@nyu.edu (she/her) is currently in her first year of a dual degree Masters in Archives and Public History at NYU and a library science degree with LIU Post. Olivia focuses on critical archival theory and how to apply disability theory to our larger work as information professionals. She previously has a Bachelors from NYU in history focusing on Black history, Atlantic, women’s, and Queer histories with minors in American Sign Language and Indigenous Studies.
